What is Sony STARVIS Technology?

The STARVIS is back-illuminated pixel technology used in CMOS image sensors for Sony cameras. It features a sensitivity of 2000 mV or more per 1 µm2 (color product, when imaging with a 706 cd/m2 light source, F5.6 in 1 s accumulation equivalent). This allows the Sony Starvis chipset provides excellent picture quality for both day-time and night time.

Eliminate guesswork from your shots. The Commander NV500’s ballistic calculator automatically adjusts the reticle for distance, wind, angle, and other factors. Enter your ballistic data, aim, and fire—the NV500 handles the rest. Store up to 7 sets of ballistic data and switch between firearms without re-zeroing. The NV500 also automatically switches ballistic algorithms based on different Lenses, ensuring precision no matter the lens you use.
