Description
The technical R&D experts of Airguns of Arizona, SubMOA, and BRK have come together and are proud to introduce the new BRK Sonoran air rifle. The BRK Sonoran begins as a BRK Sahara, already famous for its precision and quality at a fair price. That is where the Sonoran air rifle, like the desert, blooms into new life. The Sonoran is fitted with a 25-inch 15mm diameter SubMOA .22 caliber, single point, cut rifled barrel. The barrel is .218 diameter, 1:16″ twist and is unchoked, allowing for excellent results with both pellets and slugs. The barrel is from the same SubMOA factory that produced the record winner at the 2024 Extreme Benchrest competition in the grueling 100 yard finals, beating the World’s best makers for accuracy. The exclusive made .22 caliber Sonoran mirrors the world class accuracy with this specialized and bespoke barrel technology. The pellet probe is also a special made exclusive part that enhances the feeding of the pellet or slug into the throat of the barrel for maximum accuracy and ease of o-ring service. Each Sonoran has a trigger tune and light polish as standard to give the best performance and accurate shot release. The Huma regulator and the hammer spring tension are user-adjustable to enable the airgunner to set for backyard plinking or long range hunting and target use. A port adjustment allows for further power flexibility. The Sonoran comes standard with a 480cc carbon bottle, an 11-round magazine, picatinny scope and bipod rails and a desert tan stock and barrel shroud. The rifle gives 60 shots at 50 ft-lbs from the tune set up by the AOA technical staff. With an optional tune/upgrade, this air rifle will reach 65 ft-lbs or dialed back to 55 ft-lbs as shipped will deliver 70 shots from a 300 bar 580cc bottle. This option comes at an extra cost, as it involves extensive custom work and a bottle upgrade. The Sonoran is the choice for a competitive high performance custom rifle without breaking the pocket book.
